TriMonster's Early Season Training Program will prepare you for early Midwestern races like Galena and Leon's Triathlon.  This session will also build a strong foundation for those planning to race Racine and Steelhead 70.3 races down the road.

 

The program includes two weekly group workouts (one swim, one bike/run), all held in the comfort of FFC's indoor facilities.  The program is structured in that we help you create a custom training program (depending on your goals, races, available training time, family life, etc.).  Each training group is limited to 20 people, meaning the class will be extremely intimate and hands-on.

 

Early Season triathlon training will be hosted at these locations:

    FFC Union Station

    444 W. Jackson Blvd, Chicago

    • Swim: Tuesdays @ 5:30pm
    • Bike/Run: Thursdays @ 5:30pm

     

    FFC Gold Coast

    1030 N. Clark St, Chicago

    • Swim: Mondays @ 6:00pm
    • Bike/Run: Wednesdays @ 7:00pm

     

    FFC Lincoln Park

    939 W. North Ave, Chicago

    • Bike/Run: Tuesdays @ 7:15pm
    • Swim: Thursdays @ 6:30pm

Our Early Season program begins with a focus on conditioning and proper biomechanical techniques, but soon develops into a very technical format. Apart from swim, bike and run activities, this program will focus on the 4th discipline of triathlon (transition), as well as include a variety of rellated demonstrations and lectures (see list at left).

 

We come together 2x weekly to train as a group - offering a general workout plan that everyone follows to their own fitness level.  Most of these workouts will be held indoors.

 

More than anything, these sessions are all about group motivation, support and camaraderie.  We're a very social group.  Although we're passionate about triathlon and enjoy pushing ourselves, there are few egos among us.

 

The program fee is $415 for FFC Members ($680 Non Members) and includes two weekly group workouts, custom training plan, membership to FFC (if not already a member), a training tee-shirt and all of the items listed above. Class size is limited to 20 participants per session.  Join at anytime!
