TriMonster is comprised of several unique directors, each of whom brings a different perspective to the program - and each with varying backgrounds in triathlons, running and other endurance sports. |

Jay Divine (bike/run) Coach Jay is a celebrity in the local triathlon community. Apart from his full-time work as a lawyer, Jay moonlights as an instructor at FFC Lincoln Park, coaches triathlon and can always be found riding his bike on the lakefront.
Danny Ferrone (special contributor) Danny is a story unto himself. As Founder of the Fight Forever Foundation, he is a pioneer to the Cystic Fibrosis movement. Although challenged by this disease, he is a gifted triathlete. Danny is currently earning his personal trainer certification through NPTI.
Trevor Hougardy (swim) New to the program in 2009, Trevor brings with him 13 years of competitive swim experience. He is a two-time Division II national swim champion, and a multi-year swim coach. Trevor completed in his first official triathlon last season - Chicago 2009.
Scott "Hootie" Hutmacher (bike/run) Hootie has eight years of triathlon experience, having competed in sprint to Ironman distance events. He is a nationally-certified EMT, USAT Member and a USAT Level I certified coach. Read More
Erin Mendoza (special contributor) Erin is a four year TriMonster veteran. She is one of our most talented participants, and completed her first Ironman in 2009. Look for Erin to provide supplemental coaching throughout the season. Read More
Chris Navin (bike/run) Chris is a multi-year triathlete with a solid background in cycling and running. Chris is a USAT Member, a top age-group competitor and recently completed his first Iron distance event - the 2009 Ironman Wisconsin! Read More
Rosalyn "Roz" Popham (swim) Rosalyn is a co-founder of TriMonster, bringing 20 years of triathlon experience to the group with competition in sprint to Ironman distance events. She is a USAT CAT 3 Official and a USAT Age Group Commission Member.
